Meet Henry, an adult mixed-breed dog listed for adoption at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society in Augusta.

Henry can be a little nervous when he first meets someone, but his listing describes him as a very sweet boy.

The shelter says he would prefer a home without other dogs and with children age eight or older.

He may chase cats, so the shelter suggests he would do best with cats accustomed to dogs.

If Henry sounds like a possible fit, the shelter invites the whole family to come meet him.

Visit Kennebec Valley Humane Society at 168 Leighton Road in Augusta, or call 207-626-3491 to ask about Henry and his current availability.

His shelter identification number is 61476684.
